This is our framework of values and behaviours, the way that we articulate what our school means to all members of our proudly comprehensive school community. A community where everyone gives and receives respect. Always. And a community where we value the opportunity to work in partnership with others, knowing that through all of our endeavours – from courtyard to classroom and beyond – we will get the best from everyone, building our collective resilience along the way.
Our school is a centre of excellence, proudly serving our community. We are a place where we give and expect our best: in our work, in our thinking, in our approach to all aspects of our lives. We are sure and certain that the work that we do here is both urgent and important. Time is never wasted.
Our familiar image is that of a castle and our values and behaviours are the foundations upon which that castle is built. Our castle is a symbol of strength and safety that represents the heritage of our school, our place in Surrey and our attitude to life.
Our C.A.S.T.L.E. is also the shorthand method by which we consolidate all that we hold closest to our hearts at County.
We are CUSTODIANS of our school, our country and our planet, vowing always to leave things in a better place than we found them. Be that the physical environments that we inhabit, the relationships that we value or the attitudes that we live by. Our school belongs to us and we belong to our school; regardless of our individual circumstances.
