Guildford County is an outstanding school seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join a highly successful department to teach up to and including A Level. Music is a hugely enjoyed subject both at GCSE and A level, as well as being an integral part of school life for the many students who join in with our huge range of musical opportunities.
We are looking for a Teacher of Music who is a strong musician and one who is committed to raising standards at all levels; delivering excellent lessons and enthusing students through their passion for teaching. We pride ourselves on our strong team ethos; We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. We actively support new teachers with an extensive development programme that will take you through your first two years. We are as committed to your development as we will expect you to be to the progress of your students.
The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and be a reflective practitioner who embraces emerging technologies, as well as the enthusiasm to contribute to our many choirs and ensembles.
